the 135th anniversary of the
Meeting on the Mountain
2010
1st Saturday in August(7th), 2010
was held on the summit of Mt. Davidson “with the canopy of heaven for our covering,
and the wide expanse from east to west for our lodge room”, to commemorate the historic meeting of Nevada Masons first held on
Sept. 8, 1875
following the conflagration of the lodge hall and Grand Lodge records
in Virginia City in three consecutive disastrous fires.
Next Meeting is Planned for August, 2015:
Typical Agenda - Breakfast served 7:30–8:30 at Escurial 7 lodge hall before the meeting, light lunch, and a fellowship bbq after the gathering. (Weather prohibiting, the meeting will take place in the lodge.) A registration donation is requested, depending on the participant package selected.
